Tea strainer
The infusion grid allows the resin to flow along the part and spread across the entire surface of the mold.
It is strongly recommended that you use an infusion bag during infusion procedures.
In addition, our infuser screens have been tested and approved for use with most resins.
There are two types of brewing racks:
- Knitted: Soft drainage mesh – 160 g/m²
- Extruded: Rigid drainage grid – 200 g/m² to 460 g/m²
VI160W - Knitted PE - 160 g/m² - 120°C - Up to 4 m wide
The VI160W is a 160 g/m² PE-knitted infusion net. It is typically used for the infusion of parts of all sizes in the wind energy and marine industries.
PE material is compatible with all types of polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy resins.
